TRENTON, NJ – The Trenton Titans, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Philadelphia Flyers, have announced that Titans’ Captain Andy Bohmbach has been loaned to the Abbotsford Heat of the AHL.

This is Bohmbach’s second call-up to the AHL this season, having signed for one game with the Worcester Sharks on January 13. It is the fourth trip to the AHL for the third year pro, as he played 10 games for the Adirondack Phantoms and six for the Rockford IceHogs last year. He has totaled three assists and four PIM in those 16 games.

A Hudson, WI, native in his second season with Trenton, Bohmbach leads the team in goals (20), power play goals (10), short-handed goals (3), short-handed points (4) and game-winning goals (4) through 45 games.

The Trenton Titans returned in the 2011-12 hockey season after a five year hiatus and boasted a 26.1% increase in attendance over the previous year, the largest of any team in the (then) 20-team ECHL.  For information on team events or to purchase tickets for the 2012-13 season, call the Titans’ offices at 609-341-1100, or go to TrentonTitansHockey.com.
